Dreams of the Father and Insights of the Daughter

Finding a new relationship built on the foundation of the past, we are moving into the future with anticipation for what will be discovered. Person to person, moving away from preconceived ideas about what this stage of life has to offer, we are open to the experience of each day as a revelation and a gift.

De rigueur is for us to get to the airport early. We are waiting for our flight to Chicago. When we get in we will pick up a car, get something to eat then return to the airport, United this time, and pick up Lucinda. She arrives from Spokane at 7:40 pm. We will begin driving and stop for the night when we get tired. I feel a bit reckless and impetuous that we have no set plans to visit relatives. They are getting short notice. Dad and I have been sick with colds since returning from Spokane and I have had some laryngitis so didn't want to call people. Lucinda made some calls yesterday. A couple of people know we are coming but it may be a shock for us to show up. But how can they be anything but pleased to see us?
