Dreams of the Father and Insights of the Daughter

Finding a new relationship built on the foundation of the past, we are moving into the future with anticipation for what will be discovered. Person to person, moving away from preconceived ideas about what this stage of life has to offer, we are open to the experience of each day as a revelation and a gift.

Metals Class

John working on a piece.

John Cogswell is teaching a metals class called Diminutive Teapots. These are two of his.

My work: a mock up of the piece I plan to make.
First solder joint.

Didn't take any pictures today......My teapot had gone through a few design adjustments and I probably won't finish it before the end of the week. Hope to finish it at home.

Lucinda's last day

She wanted to have a southern meal before she flew back to Spokane.

Dad enjoyed country fried steak, creamed corn and stew tomatoes with okra
Lucinda eating fried mudbugs (aka: crawfish) and squash souffle. I had fried chicken.
