Dreams of the Father and Insights of the Daughter

Finding a new relationship built on the foundation of the past, we are moving into the future with anticipation for what will be discovered. Person to person, moving away from preconceived ideas about what this stage of life has to offer, we are open to the experience of each day as a revelation and a gift.

Kenosha to Lake Geneva

Leaving Kenosha Best Western Motel. A beautiful setting on Lake Michigan, we enjoyed the view.

This is our last day of vacation in the Midwest. What a great time we had. We left Kenosha and drove to Lake Geneva, WI. Had a little time so we drove around Geneva Lake to the Yerkes Conservatory.

Dad remembers a high school trip to Yerkes. The students stood in a hall looking in on the telescope which was impressive. Established in 1867 it houses the largest refractory telescope in the world. It is only open on Saturday so we didn't get to tour.

The trip ended with a wonderful lunch at Popeye's of Lake Geneva. I am sure this restaurant predates the chain. It is a wonderful place and we had 14 people at the table all Larsen relatives!. Dad's brother came over from Walworth and his sister came from Clinton, Iowa
